Ditto Golf Plans

Ditto Golf Course is seeking public input for its 2013 Master Plan of the golf course and clubhouse. We recognize that your input and your ideas are vital to providing an exceptional golf experience for all ages and ability levels. Arlington Golf will host two public meetings to identify community preferences and priorities as we develop the master plan of the facility. High Oak Park Development

HIGH OAK PARK DEVELOPMENT At the March 26th Public Meeting regarding park development of the former High Oak Terrace Apartments site, the Arlington Parks & Recreation Department presented a conceptual master plan showing a “big picture” plan for the future park. Based on feedback from this meeting, we’ve updated the conceptual master plan. Also attached is a summary of the meeting discussions, filled-out comments cards, and any e-mailed or telephoned comments received before the meeting. The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department and Arlington Public Library are proposing to complete a programmatic assessment for replacing the Hugh Smith Recreation Center and possibly co-locating recreation programming with the services provided by the East Arlington Branch Library. Work will also include an evaluation of alternatives for senior services. Park bond funding was authorized for this assessment in 2008. Library bond funding was also authorized for expansion of the East Arlington Branch Library in 2008.
