About

The Senior Recreation Center (New York Avenue) has space to rent which are ideal for all types of events – including organization meetings, church services, sporting events and special occasions. Space is available to rent seven days a week depending upon availability. Rental availability is open to all City of Arlington residents and visitors. Compare our rates to other event venues.

Weddings / Receptions

  • Main Hall

    2,400 square foot multi-purpose room is ideal for large wedding event. The windows of the room provide unique ambient lighting during day times. A full kitchen is adjacent to the Main Hall, and may be rented for the duration of the event. The room capacity of this room is 185 with tables, and slightly less if a dance floor is desired.

    The Main Hall can be divided in three sections. Single Sections of the Hall may be rented during operating hours. For non-operating hours, at least two sections must be rented.

  • Full Service Kitchen

    Kitchen is equipped with cooking devices as well as refrigeration and freezers. There is a serving line which can be utilized for wedding reception lines. A loading dock is available at the back of the kitchen for easy delivery of food items. The kitchen must be rented for the duration of the event, and cannot be blocked off into smaller increments.

  • SPRING FLING BARBEQUE.  Tuesday, March 26 from 4pm-5:30pm.  Fee: $2.00   We’ll serve hamburgers and hot dogs with all the sides and play bingo and other games.  Register early 817-460-5009.
  • CASINO TRIP to Choctaw Casino.  Thursday, March 28 from 8am to 8pm.  Fee: $12.00
  • LOG CABIN VILLAGE.  Thursday, April 4 from 9am to 3pm.  Experience the sights, sounds and smells of 19th century Texas.  Log Cabin Village has nine historic structures dating back to mid 1800’s.
  • ALLEY CATS/PUTT PUTT.  Thursday, April 18 from 9am to  2pm.  Fee: $18.00 which includes bowling and Putt Putt.  You get all you can drink coffee or soda and a light lunch as well.
  • TRIP TO MT. RUSHMORE, JULY 23-29, Double occupancy $1,899 which includes hotel, air fare and tour. Call for more information at (817) 460-5009
