Melissa Entralgo, Electronic Media Specialist, just joined Arlington Parks and Recreation team. Melissa previously was the In-House Junior Graphic Designer for a privately owned high-end retail store out of Houston.
As the Junior Designer, Melissa was in charge of all on-site assets and Email campaigns. She researched concepts and created print and web collateral for all upcoming events, store promotions and in-store signage. Melissa also assisted in all marketing and social media campaigns as well as creative direction on fashion photo shoots. Prior to her current role, Melissa was the Ecommerce Content Manager for the company. As the Content Manager, she maintained the website and oversaw orders, shipping and customer service, as well as photography, editing, copywriting and implementation of all new merchandise. During her tenure, she also re-designed and implemented new email templates and was lead designer on the re-design of the company's new responsive website.
Melissa manages the Social Media and Brand Standards for Arlington Parks and Recreation Department. She is also the editor for all APRD major print publications, including the Summer Day Camp Guide, Summer Aquatics Guide, and the Naturally Fun Magazine.
A typography and lettering enthusiast, she spent a summer studying at Parson's School of Design in NYC and earned a bachelor's in Communication Design from Texas State University.
