Keep Arlington Beautiful

Keep Arlington Beautiful (1)

The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with Keep Arlington Beautiful, a Keep Texas Beautiful Gold/Silver Star Affiliate and 2012 winner of the Governors Community Achievement Award, provides numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year.  Volunteer opportunities can range from one-time events (park cleanups, special events, mulching and/or planting) to recurring events such as internships, teaching classes or coaching teams.

  • ONE-TIME EVENT: If you are volunteering for a one-time event please visit the Keep Arlington Beautiful Calendar of Events for an at-a-glance menu of future volunteer opportunities or email the Volunteer Coordinator at  KAB@arlingtontx.gov .
  • ONGOING VOLUNTEER: If you are volunteering for an on-going or recurring opportunity, please create an account on the City of Arlington’s online volunteer management system.  Creating an account in this system will start a background check and provide you with a way to track your volunteer hours.  Please note that accounts with no activity for 6 months will be archived automatically.

For general questions regarding volunteering for the Parks and Recreation Department please contact us at  kab@arlingtontx.gov or call 817-459-5474.
