Richard Simpson Construction Progress - Nov.

Demolition of the parking lot at Richard Simpson Park is underway! Construction on phase one improvements began on October 26, 2017.

Over the next 30 days site excavation/grading will take place, dirt will be hauled to the area of the new lake house, and drilling of the concrete piers for the lake house will begin.

The $3.5 million project, scheduled to be complete by December 2018, aligns with the Arlington City Council priority to Champion Great Neighborhoods. Construction is funded through the 2008 Bond Referendum and Arlington Tomorrow Foundation.
