Richard Simpson Construction Progress - Dec.

Concrete pouring is underway at Richard Simpson Park. Construction of phase one improvements began on October 26, 2017.

Workers will begin the drilling and construction of concrete piers for the lake house foundation over the next 30 days. Workers will also begin the forming and construction of foundation concrete beams. Click here to read last month's update or here  to view the master plan.

The $3.5 million project, scheduled to be complete by December 2018, aligns with the Arlington City Council priority to Champion Great Neighborhoods. Construction is funded through the 2008 Bond Referendum and Arlington Tomorrow Foundation.
